Sipre d'Tinyan Aurayta (Deuteronomy) 6:4-10

6:4 Hear, O Israel: MarYah (is) our Alaha, MarYah (is) one.

6:5 You shall love MarYah your Alaha with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

6:6 These words that I command you today - they shall be in your heart;

6:7 And you shall teach them to your children and discuss them when you sit at home and when you walk down the path, when you lie down and when you rise up;

6:8 You shall bind them on your hand as a sign, and (they shall) be a symbol on your forehead,

6:9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

6:10 Then, when MarYah your Alaha (causes) you to enter the land which He swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, (he) will give you large and splendid cities, which you did not build;
































6:4, Tj adds, Ya'aqub made response, and said, Blessed be His Glorious Name for ever and ever; or, Ya'aqub responded and said, May His Great Name be blessed for ever!; Njp mrg, Blessed be the Name of His glorious Kingdom, forever and ever!

6:9, or, in the posts of the gates of your house

Shema, Yisra'el: MarYah Elahana, MarYah echad. {Barukh shem kavod le'alam va'ed.} Vetircham, yat MarYah Elahach, bechol libbach uvechol nafshach, uvechol nichsach. Vihon pitgamaiya ha'ilein, da'ana mefakeid lach yoma dein--al libach. Utetanneinun livnach, utemalleil behon, bemittevach beveitach uvimhachach be'orecha, uvemishkevach uvimkimach. Vetikterinun le'at, al yedach; vihon li'tefillin, bein einach. Vetichtovinnun al mezozeyan vetikbe'inun besipei beitach, uvetar'ach.
